Endangered Hearts
I will first say that this story is written in an interesting 1st person manner that alternates from Emilia, a professional housekeeper and Kasper, the owner of said house. The writing style kept me reading. The story line is one of Beauty and the Beast outwardly, with Kasper being the beast. Inwardly, Emilia feels like the beast to his beauty. This is a love story without an HEA. Honest and sad.
I struggled reading it for various reasons, including the editing, which I attribute to it no being the final product for sale. And I am rating it a 3 stars because I could not put it down in spite of myself. And the ending which was more realistic than any I usually read.
