Back Up Singers (Review Team)

Meet The Chanteuse Back Up Singers Review Team :

Mags aka: Literary Chanteuse

I am Margaret Faria also known through the online book community as Literary Chanteuse.  I am an avid reader and read a variety of books and genres.  As I get asked this a lot, yes I do really sing.  I have been lead & back up vocalist for many bands and artists and have logged countless hours in  recording studios being very fortunate to have worked with some amazingly talented people.  As any starving artist knows one’s talent doesn’t always pay the bills so I have also worked in the travel industry.  Resorts, hotels and airlines and as you’ve guessed I have traveled a bit.  These days however home is in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada, as a wife and Mother, PR/Marketing Manager for InD'tale Magazine. I have always had a love for reading and now indulge in it with an abundance of coffee.

I am a retired and forever flower child of the 60's and early 70's. I read everything, but thoroughly love Science Fiction, Paranormal, Military Suspense and Romance. My favorite themes are kickass women and the men they try not to love. My very 1st favorite book series (other than Nancy Drew when I was younger) was the Sookie Stackhouse series, I graduated to Anita Blake series which I reread often and the Dark Carpathians and Black Dagger Brotherhood. Oh and Kate Daniels and the Prophecy series and the Warrior's Challenge series and . . . but I digress. I enjoy reading. If you can take me to the place where nothing exists but the world in your book, I will return there time and time again. . . I am interested in writing my own fiction when I grow up and had the first very short story I have written in some time posted in the Gila River Review, Spring 2014 edition. Entitled 'Sarah'

I fell in love with reading in grade school. My first favorite was The Box Car Children, then my best friend and I read the entire Nancy Drew series from our school library. After that, some young adult then onto adult romance. I've graduated to some suspense and mystery, however made my way back to contemporary romance, which I love! Just ask my husband, my nose is in my E reader any stolen moment I have. I have worked in the wine industry for over 15 years. I am also very interested in wellness and healthy eating. I love spending time with friends and family and sharing a glass of my latest favorite!

Asja Wright

Asja would not say that she is an expert on books, but rather an expert on her opinion of the books she reads. Some of her favorite authors include, but are not limited to Jodi Picoult, Wally Lamb, Diana Gabaldon, Jeffery Eugenides and Khaled Hossenini. Along with being a book connoisseur, Asja is a mom to two audacious children, a wife to a stellar husband, and a student at SFU in the Health Sciences program. Life does not leave her much time to travel, but what better alternative to see the world than through literature. Heaven in Asja’s eyes consists of dark chocolate, a hot cup of tea, a soothing bubble bath, and of course an enticing book.

Sarah E. Bradley

I’ve been reading since before I can remember. My mother still recalls the day I came up to her and her friends with my Peter Pan book and “read” it to her at the age of two, having completely memorized it. Since then I’ve devoured roughly one to two hundred books a year and have since started writing my own. When I’m not editing and adding scenes, I’m buried in someone else’s world seeking new romance, kick-butt action, and enough laughs to leave me rolling off my bean bag.
